– bell hooks

Favorite place in Tallahassee: Common Ground Books and Tom Brown Park.

Favorite aspect of coaching: Creating a safe space for students to be themselves.

Advice to students: Life is completely unpredictable, but that doesn’t mean that what you want for yourself right now is irrelevant. Every idea and goal you have for yourself that doesn’t turn out how you wanted it to is just as important as the idea and goal that does turn out how you wanted them to. Never stop planning, dreaming, or setting goals –no matter how disappointing life may become. You as a human and what you want in life is ALWAYS important. Never let anyone say differently.
